Morning Yoga

AMONGST THE BLOOMS

Bring your own yoga mat and fill your senses with life and energy by enjoying a gentle morning yoga class in the lavender fields under the shade and weather protection of our event tent. Inspired by nature, hatha yoga, and the latest science in functional healthy movement for longevity. This all levels class explores movement with breath awareness, to relieve tension and build strength and stability out on the land among the lavender plants. Join us for this relaxing oasis every morning, only in July from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Enjoy a class for $27.00* per person (including field admission) Advance registration is required, space is limited, please register online. Rain or shine protection provided.

Elizabeth Palermo

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Inspired by wandering in nature and the latest science in natural, functional movement, Elizabeth leads a well-balanced yoga class rooted in the joy of movement with mindful breath. With over 20 years of an evolving practice and 600 hours of certified training, including prenatal and restorative yoga, Elizabeth welcomes all levels to meet
on the mat and explore the merits of mindful movement inwardly and in community.

Sasha Padron

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Sasha began practicing yoga twenty years ago in Toronto, after the birth of her first son. The profound impact yoga had on Sasha’s life led her to begin yoga teacher training at Yogaspace a few years later. Her passion for teaching yoga has continued ever since, with a special passion for prenatal yoga and therapeutic yoga. As a doula Sasha has been attending births for the past twenty 25 years, inspiring her focus on prenatal yoga. Sasha also uses yoga as part of her mission to heal the chronic back issues she has lived with since she was a teenager. Yoga has allowed her to care for a body that was often up through the night supporting women having babies. In 2013 Sasha relocated to Trent Hills, immediately feeling at home within the community.

Jane Cook

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Jane completed her 200hr YTT with Living in The Self in 2014, and began teaching in her home studio in Campbellcroft Ontario. Shortly after she began teaching at Stoney Lake Wellness, then Salti Yoga in Peterborough Ontario. Whether teaching to one student or 20, Jane enedeavors to teach to the individual, providing her students with modifications and challenges where needed, and encourages her students to connect with self in an inclusive and comfortable setting.

Jane is currently developing her mobile studio, providing private, group instruction and workshops. She is thrilled to be invited to teach at Laveanne this season and looks forward to meeting you.

Sally Staples

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Fascination with the big city lights of Toronto lured Sally away from her small town farming roots at age seventeen, beginning a lifelong career of coaching health and wellness. After many years of teaching physical fitness and nutrition wellness, she encountered the ancient healing practices of Ayurveda, mindful meditation, and yoga. Sally began weaving these practices into her daily life and she found the results to be amazing, creating a deeper sense of being. She now is back to the wonder and joy she knew growing up on a farm, where she had the opportunity to live intimately with the beauty and the incredible healing power of nature. It is Sally’s passion to teach these practices, helping others to experience playful ways to let go and find peace while rejuvenating body, mind, heart and soul.

If class attendees don’t meet our minimum class capacity, Laveanne reserves the right to cancel the session and offer a refund or reschedule for
a different date.
