Morning Yoga

AMONGST THE BLOOMS

Fill your senses with life and energy by enjoying a gentle morning yoga and meditation class in the lavender fields.
Our team of three yoga instructors will guide you through mindful movements and breath before leading you on a restoring labyrinth walk. Yoga is performed in the shade of a large Maple tree and the class is concluded with a mindful walk through the lavender labyrinth. Join us for this relaxing oasis every morning in July from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. Enjoy a class for $25.00. Advance registration is required, please register online.

Elizabeth Palermo

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Inspired by wandering in nature and the latest science in natural, functional movement, Elizabeth leads a well-balanced and accessible yoga class rooted in the joy of movement with mindful breath. Nearly 20 years of practicing yoga informs her safe foundation for exploring personal edges. Grateful for her teachers at Octopus Garden and Yogaspace in Toronto, she now lives in Northumberland County with over 600 hours of certified training, including prenatal, postnatal and restorative yoga. Continually drawn to yoga's power for self-discovery and healing, Elizabeth welcomes all levels to meet oneself on the mat and to share the merits of mindful movement and breath outwardly and in community.

Sally Staples

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Fascination with the big city lights of Toronto lured Sally away from her small town farming roots at age seventeen, beginning a lifelong career of coaching health and wellness. After many years of teaching physical fitness and nutrition wellness, she encountered the ancient healing practices of Ayurveda, mindful meditation, and yoga. Sally began weaving these practices into her daily life and she found the results to be amazing, creating a deeper sense of being. She now is back to the wonder and joy she knew growing up on a farm, where she had the opportunity to live intimately with the beauty and the incredible healing power of nature. It is Sally’s passion to teach these practices, helping others to experience playful ways to let go and find peace while rejuvenating body, mind, heart and soul.

Sasha Padron

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Sasha began practicing yoga twenty years ago in Toronto, after the birth of her first son. The profound impact yoga had on Sasha’s life led her to begin yoga teacher training at Yogaspace a few years later. Her passion for teaching yoga has continued ever since, with a special passion for prenatal yoga and therapeutic yoga. As a doula Sasha has been attending births for the past twenty 25 years, inspiring her focus on prenatal yoga. Sasha also uses yoga as part of her mission to heal the chronic back issues she has lived with since she was a teenager. Yoga has allowed her to care for a body that was often up through the night supporting women having babies. In 2013 Sasha relocated to Trent Hills, immediately feeling at home within the community.
